Kitten Socialization
Each kitten is socialized by their parents and by me from the moment they open their eyes and start to learn about the world
Having the luxury of working from home, I spend nearly all of my time with the newborns, picking them up, petting, playing, sleeping with, and learning about each of their personalities/tendencies.
Working through their fear period I ask my sister or roommate to also come spend time with them so that they are used to strangers and visitors interacting with them.
I also use everyday stimuli such as household sounds like the vacuum, the sink, laundry machine, among other things to get them accustomed to all the sounds, sights, and smells of their future homes. I recognize that their early formative years are essential to developing a loving and caring companion!
